Meet Jeff Mohl, Executive Benefits Consultant

TIP proudly welcomes Jeff Mohl to the team as an Executive Benefits Consultant serving the greater Chicago marketplace. Jeff brings nearly 40 years of employee benefits and insurance distribution experience and will help brokers grow their book of business and build their reputation as a leader in the executive benefits space.

“Jeff’s ability to be a disciplined individual performer, along with his strengths as a team collaborator brings an additional layer of strength to our organization,” Managing Principal Mike Zimmerman, shares. “He will serve the Chicago area well and is a key part of our plan to continue expanding our offerings across the country.”

Jeff has worked for several major insurance organizations, all who provided him with excellent training and continuing education opportunities.   

“This is the first time I can represent multiple carriers and I couldn’t be more excited,” Jeff shared. “I look forward to being consultative and finding the best solution for each client.”

“Jeff is a relationship builder and has many great connections in the Chicago area,” EVP of Distribution Keith Johnson, shares. “His ability to be strategic and consultative will be impactful for many brokers.” 

Jeff draws on his experience as an Executive Sales Consultant with Guardian life, as a 2nd Vice President with Nippon Life Insurance Company and as a Group Representative at Travelers Insurance Company.

Jeff holds a BS degree in Business from Miami University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from DePaul University and an Employee Benefit Specialist certificate from Wharton School. He is passionate about his family and their personal and professional satisfaction. Outside of work, he loves to travel with his spouse and pursue adventure and varied life experiences.

“I’m looking forward to helping my broker colleagues in an area they may not have expertise in or time to spend learning on their own. I want my clients to use our expertise to grow revenue within their current block of business and help position them as experts among the decision-making executives in their market so they can acquire additional accounts.”
