Meet Angela Doherty, EVP of Client Management | TIPAdvise

That’s why TIP is proud to welcome Angela Doherty to the team. Angela joins as Executive Vice President of Client Management and brings 25 years of benefits and leadership experience. In this role, Angela will lead our client services team to ensure we maintain the high level of service we’ve become known for over the last decade.

“Bringing an experienced leader like Angela on to the team shows our commitment to our clients and their experience in working with us,” Managing Principal Mike Zimmerman, shares. “Angela will help us keep our high level of service, while growing our client management team and positioning us for future growth.”

Angela is an apt problem solver and can navigate the inner workings and various departments of carriers. She has led teams in all areas of operations and strategic relationship management and enjoys advocating for and developing others to help individuals and businesses grow and succeed.

We pride ourselves on end-to-end customer support and bringing her onto the team shows our total commitment to excellence in customer service and client management.”

Angela draws on her experience as an employee benefits specialist, including four years as a Regional Service Manager at Guardian Life and nearly 20 years at Unum, including 17 years as a Customer Service Manager.

Angela graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Mathematics in 1993. She has been married for 26 years and she and her husband enjoy visiting their two sons at college. She is also a big fan of any outdoor activities – especially spending time at the lake or in the mountains.  

Angela is in this business because she finds it rewarding.
